Regional gourmet cuisine

at the Derichsweiler Hof

Our restaurant pampers you with dishes from the Oberberg region and seasonal ingredients from the region. We set great store by offering a diverse, varied selection of culinary highlights.

Regionality lies close to our hearts

Let us pamper you!

The multifaceted quality of the Oberberg landscape is also reflected in our restaurant concept.

Both the influences of the hearty, savoury cooking of the Oberberg region and elements of modern international cuisine with its different sources of inspiration are skilfully implemented by our kitchen crew, with customary sophistication.

We’re always ready to respond to special requests too. Here, fresh regional products of the season are right at the top of the ingredients list.

Gourmet Calendar for 2020

January and February

When the days turn colder, the first kale appears in our cooking.

Delicious and definitely homemade: our kale is sheer poetry – served with the right savoury ingredients.

April

Good Friday, 10th April 2020

At our hotel too, Good Friday is the day for fish specialities.

Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, 12th and 13th April 2020:

Big lunchtime Easter buffet on both days, from 11.30 am. The salad, main course and dessert buffet offers a varied selection.
In the evenings, choose from our à la carte menu.

May

Scrumptious asparagus from Bruchsal.

Fresh asparagus is simply delicious – no matter whether you enjoy this kingly stem vegetable with butter or Hollandaise sauce, with ham or schnitzel, with scrambled eggs or steak. Let yourself be tempted and have an asparagus feast with us.

June and July

Fish and crustaceans

Fish is rich in protein, mostly low-fat and a source of important nutrients. As scientists from the University of Aberdeen discovered, fish makes you clever. That argument probably carries no weight with our clever guests – but fish also happens to be extremely delicious. We’ll gladly prove it to you at your table at the Derichsweiler Hof.

September

The 11th Nümbrecht Potato Days from 1st to 30th September 2020

The best way to discover how versatile our potato is by enjoying culinary treats. Look forward to delicious specialties from the creative potato cuisine

October

Harvest Festival

We endeavour to use regional products as much as possible in our cooking. Now, in October, the range of choice is enormous – because it’s harvest time. Pumpkins, mushrooms and game enrich the menu. A lavish cornucopia of delicious fruits and berries for you to choose from. Enjoy the culinary delights of autumn – now, at the Derichsweiler Hof.

November

TALLY HO! IT’S THE HUNTING SEASON!

Hotel manager Thorsten Derichsweiler is a passionate hunter. So, after his forays through the local forests and fields many a piece of venison finds its way into our game menu: rabbit, roe deer, red deer or wild boar from the surrounding area are thus guaranteed.
Reserve a table and enjoy some game right away!
